Dr Hui is an enterprising researcher, who has played a key role in the recognition and widespread application of EECP therapy in USA and all over the World.
The invitation of Prof. Zheng, who developed the EECP system with its characteristics currently used world wide, to State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1988, the commencement of EECP applications in USA, the generous support of the clinical studies, the FDA approvals after observation of favorable results of this treatment, all have been realized by his great efforts.

I am deeply grateful to him, for his sincere entertainment and educational support during my one week visit to Stony Brook in 2004 and also for his contributions and enlightening comments to supporting my opinions about “the use EECP also at the earlier stages of coronary artery disease instead of restricting its use to those patients who have reached the end stage of the disease and are no longer a candidate for any invasive procedures”.
